One of the big things that comes in a kitchen remodel, is the opportunity for new appliances! Do you know what to look for? Reading reviews can help for brands, but will you be paying extra for features you’ll never use? Here is some insight to help you make the best decision for you!

Does expensive mean better?
Yes and no. More expensive appliances often have better features and service plans, however, there is a point to where you are paying for a brand rather than the appliances. Unless the expensive names matter to you, avoid overpaying for a luxury brand when a mid-range brand is just as good.
What about BTUs?
More isn’t better in this case either. Unless you’re a professional chef, using every burner at once, you’ll want a variety of options. Look for at least one burner that can get down to 3,000 BTUs and one that can get as high as 12,000.
Is a Double Oven necessary?
If you are an avid baker and like to entertain, definitely. For everyone else, not really.
