As fall draws near, life starts to get busier. The last thing we want in life is to have to clean up our house after a long day of work. Dealing with muddy boots should the the only thing we need to scrub. Here are some tips to make your kitchen life, simple.
1. Minimal detailed doors
You may be attracted to more detailed doors, but they are attracted to a lot more dirt. Choosing flat or Shaker style cabinet doors will cut down on cleaning maintenance, as they don’t have as many nooks and crannys to collect dirt.

2. Flush Cabinets
When your cabinet doors and drawers are flush, it cuts out a lot of the places dirt and spills can hide. With a simple wipe, everything can be clean.
3. Keep it simple
Cutting out the fancy details like crown moldings, detailed legs and corbels leaves you with flat surfaces. If you still desire the designer touch, try bright colors, exaggerated lighting, or adding tech.

4. Pick a stain instead of paint
As we have already established, painting is never the way to go. Feel free to read Why Painting Is Out for a full explanation
5. Avoid glass front doors
Even though every trendy kitchen has open face or glass upper cabinets, they definitely aren’t efficient. Glass is a dust and finger print magnet. Not only does glass attract more dirt, it means you also need to keep all the dishes tidy. Normal door cabinets means that you can hide your ugly dishes with peace of mind.
